Our client is a well-established, family-owned business specializing in wholesale household products. They are looking to add a Warehouse Lead to their team. Salary/Hourly Rate: $25/hr – $30/hr (Based on relevant experience) Position Overview: The Warehouse Lead is responsible for managing daily warehouse operations. The Warehouse Lead role is ideal for a seasoned warehouse professional with hands-on experience and a forklift operator certification. Responsibilities of the Warehouse Lead: Coordinate and assist with loading and unloading trucks. Unload and prepare incoming items for storage, including packing, wrapping, and labeling. Ensure timely and accurate loading of outbound trucks. Identify and report any discrepancies in shipments. Operate and maintain warehouse equipment, including forklifts. Pick orders and oversee quality checks on order accuracy. Mentor and lead a small team of 3 – 5 Warehouse Associates. Qualifications for the Warehouse Lead: Proven experience in a warehouse environment, with skills in order picking, packing, and inventory control. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to guide and mentor a small team. Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
