We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Commercial Painter Crew Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial painting and leadership, with the ability to lead a crew effectively and ensure projects are completed to the highest standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise a team of painters on commercial painting projects, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to project timelines.
  • Plan and organize daily tasks and assignments for the painting crew, including preparation, painting, and cleanup activities.
  • Oversee surface preparation, including sanding, scraping, patching, and priming, to ensure a smooth and even paint finish.
  • Apply paint, stain, varnish, and other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces, including walls, ceilings, floors, and trim, using brushes, rollers, and sprayers.
  • Inspect work progress and finished surfaces to ensure quality standards are met and address any issues or deficiencies promptly.
  • Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and clients to communicate project requirements, timelines, and updates.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment, including proper handling and storage of painting materials and equipment.
  • Train and mentor crew members, providing guidance on painting techniques, safety procedures, and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a commercial painter, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in commercial painting projects.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and experience leading a painting crew or team of workers.
  • Strong knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and equipment used in commercial painting applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, contractors, and team members.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality craftsmanship and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S for any employer.
