Our client in Landrum has been in business for nearly 30 years and has continued to grow over the years. They are seeking a motivated individual to join their team as a Die Maintenance Technician & Die Runner as the business continues to grow. The right candidate will report to Management and will collaborate with all departments within the company. This position will maintain and repair dies in the tool and die department with the experience of surface grinding various metals.
Expectations will require this role to take on other tasks as they arise from management. Multi-tasking, strong communication, and organizational skills are critical for success in this role. This role requires someone to be curious about potential problems, investigating them to determine their root cause and bring solutions to the management, engineering, scheduling team, and operators. This role requires someone comfortable with GD&T interpretation, measuring tools, optical measuring equipment, reading tool drawings, and asking key questions to provide solutions to die quality concerns.
