Job Description
Overview:We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sr. Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance operations. The successful candidate will ensure that all plant equipment, machinery, and facilities are maintained at peak performance. This position requires a strategic leader capable of managing a team of maintenance professionals, developing comprehensive maintenance strategies, and collaborating with various departments to enhance production efficiency and safety compliance.Key Responsibilities:Maintenance Strategy and Execution:Develop and oversee preventive maintenance plans to reduce downtime and extend equipment longevity.Ensure all maintenance, repairs, and installations are performed to the highest standards.Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, equipment efficiency, and compliance with safety standards.Leadership and Team Development:Lead, coach, and develop a team of maintenance supervisors and technicians.Assign tasks and monitor progress, providing constructive feedback to team members.Promote a collaborative and positive working environment.Equipment and Facility Management:Ensure efficient and safe operation of all production equipment.Coordinate maintenance schedules with production to avoid disruptions.Oversee the maintenance of building systems including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.Safety and Regulatory Compliance:Implement safety protocols to maintain a safe workplace.Stay updated on regulations related to food manufacturing and ensure compliance.Conduct regular safety audits and address any identified issues.Budget and Resource Management:Manage the maintenance budget efficiently, identifying cost-saving opportunities.Negotiate with suppliers and vendors for equipment and parts procurement.Continuous Improvement:Evaluate maintenance performance metrics and seek improvement areas.Implement innovative practices to boost maintenance efficiency.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Maintenance Management, or related field.At least 7 years of maintenance management experience in the food manufacturing industry.Proficient with Microsoft Office and maintenance management software.Strong leadership abilities and experience in team management.Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement is a plus.Supervisory Duties:Oversee a team of Maintenance Supervisors and Technicians.Responsible for hiring, disciplinary actions, and performance evaluations of team members.
